Fortunately we are just getting too busy to take everyone who visits the farm around individually, but

we still would love to show you & for you to see how we farm regeneratively including how our

heritage animals are raised, our land is managed & constantly improved & our conservation projects.

These tours will be limited to @ 10 people each time & last about 60-90 minutes. Please dress

appropriately for the weather(bring water, no flip flops, a hat, layers) - there will be a fair amount of

walking involved depending on where the animals are in their grass rotation.

We can accommodate 1 person who has difficulty getting around on each tour date. There is no charge for

the farm tour, but please register by sending us your name & the number of people wanting to attend via

our Contact Us page on this website or text me at 440.313.4179

Volunteer Farm Work Days 2020

We are going to try something a little different this year, many of you have asked if you can help us,

so this year we will have 5 volunteer farm work days -

Saturday 6th June

Sunday 12th July

Saturday 29th August

Sunday 20th September

Sunday 18th October

9am - 3pm with an hour break for lunch, which we will provide from meat & produce grown here on the farm.

Work to be done will be determined on that day, anything from working in the produce gardens & hoophouse, moving/ watering animals, working on clearing fence lines, bringing wood up, planting seedling in the

pollinator preserve etc. etc. Some of this work will require some lifting, other tasks not so much, but expect a reasonably physical day & a great nights sleep afterwards! I expect the group to be split into 2 work teams to facilitate more of a learning as well as a farm work day experience.

Please come dressed to work outside (bring a refillable water bottle, sunscreen & hat if its hot, dress in layers,

strong shoes, gardening or other strong gloves if you have them).

Age guide 12 years & up.

Limited to 6 people for each work day, please email to reserve a spot - tamsinandscott@chanderhillfarm.com
